I am a very 'kept to myself' type of girl, but I will never turn away from a heart in need, and I love being a strong shoulder for all of those that may need me.
Yes, I have a past- a past full of real scars and real pain. But you know what? Today I still stand; may be wobbly at times and may still fall, but I know that Jesus'll never let me down. My faith reaches across the mountains, and His love reaches around the world.

I lost my dad when I was eleven- but he will ALWAYS be my hero.

I'm not afraid to admit that I love Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, and Demi Lovato.

Verano con Genesis Diez en Ensenada Mexico!

For those of you who do not know, this past Wednesday started my journey with Genesis Diez down in Mexico!
These first few days have been such a joy as we began preparing for our first orphanages to arrive next week!
Just to be able to see so many different people come together with a common love of Christ is amazing! Just to be apart of this group is a joy and a blessing!
The power and will of Christ is evident every day at Rancho Genesis, and I love being able to be a part of such a wonderful experience!

However I will be posting pictures, stories, prayer, etc on here to keep everyone updated!

I hope that you will stick with me through this summer as I will only be able to update on the weekends! However, it would be great to still be able to hear from everyone! Whether it just be a prayer, or a kind word, it all means so much to me!

Social Media Cleanse ||

I then realized that I was hiding the fact that I am a follower of Christ.
Well, according to Kyle Idleman’s book Not A Fan, I wasn’t even being a follower at all.
I was praising God when the context was ‘appropriate’.
Where my non-christian friends wouldn’t see it too often.
Where I could say what I wanted and not have to worry who would see.
Where nobody would judge me, because well, they were doing the same thing.

I want to live a life where people can look at me and know I am a follower of Christ.
